We are looking for an experienced Public Sector Sales Lead to own and grow TeamViewer’s enterprise Public Sector business across the UK.
This is a player-coach role, combining direct sales responsibility with leadership of a small specialist Public Sector sales team. You will carry an individual quota and personally lead strategic opportunities, while coaching and supporting the wider team to build pipeline, win new customers, and expand TeamViewer’s position across the UK Public Sector.
Responsibilities
- Own the UK Public Sector market for TeamViewer Enterprise, building and executing a clear territory and go-to-market strategy.
- Carry an individual sales quota, taking direct ownership of strategic accounts and major opportunities from prospecting through to close.
- Lead, coach, and develop a small team of Public Sector sellers, creating clear accountability around pipeline, customer engagement, and revenue performance.
- Build new relationships across central and local government, healthcare, education, and other relevant Public Sector organizations.
- Develop relationships with senior IT, digital workplace, infrastructure, service management, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong territory and account plans, identifying priority organizations, stakeholders, opportunities, and routes to market.
- Generate new pipeline through proactive prospecting, customer engagement, events, partners, and coordinated account-based activity.
- Navigate Public Sector procurement processes and work effectively with relevant channel partners, resellers, frameworks, and systems integrators.
- Partner closely with TeamViewer Solution Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, Channel, and Product teams to progress strategic opportunities.
- Run outcome-focused customer discovery that connects technology requirements to measurable business value.
- Maintain disciplined opportunity management, forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
- Share market insight with leadership and help shape TeamViewer’s broader Public Sector strategy, propositions, and sales plays.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
