🚀 Sales Manager – Public Sector | UK
📍 Location: Flexible UK location, with accessibility to London or the South West
💰 Package: £80,000 base (Some flex) + £80,000 commission (£160,000 OTE)
A growing UK-based IT solutions provider is looking for an experienced Public Sector Sales Manager to lead and accelerate its sales performance and new-business growth across the UK public sector (excluding Defence).
This is a leadership and hands-on commercial role, combining team management, strategic deal support, and new-logo acquisition.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the Public Sector sales effort across a defined target-account base, helping build a high-performing team and creating a consistent, scalable pipeline.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a Public Sector sales team
- Driving new-logo acquisition and strategic account growth
- Supporting complex and high-value opportunities
- Building senior relationships across the Public Sector
- Developing strong vendor and partner relationships
- Embedding structured qualification and sales methodology
- Improving CRM discipline, forecasting, and pipeline visibility
- Creating a clear and measurable growth plan

What They’re Looking For
You’ll ideally bring:
- Proven experience leading IT sales teams
- A strong track record in Public Sector sales
- Demonstrable success winning new logos
- Experience coaching salespeople and supporting complex deals
- A structured, metrics-driven approach to sales management
- Strong forecasting and pipeline-management skills
- Commercial maturity and senior stakeholder credibility
- Experience working with technology vendors and partners
- An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine ownership mentality
