PUBLICITY MANAGER
Full-time, permanent
Salary: Competitive
Flexible / hybrid working, with regular Central London attendance required
ANRPR is looking for an energetic, creative, and highly organised Publicity Manager to join our growing team.
We are an independent communications agency specialising in theatre, arts, culture, and entertainment, working with an exciting mix of theatres, producers, cultural organisations, venues, and live entertainment clients across the UK.
This is an opportunity for an experienced publicist to take real ownership of campaigns and client relationships within a small, ambitious, and collaborative agency.
We're looking for someone with strong media instincts, excellent writing skills, and established relationships across the media. You'll be comfortable managing several campaigns simultaneously, developing creative stories and angles, pitching confidently to journalists, and working directly with clients.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is proactive; someone who thinks ahead, spots opportunities, keeps campaigns moving, and enjoys taking ownership of their work.
THE ROLE
As Publicity Manager, you will:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of publicity campaigns across a portfolio of theatre, arts, culture, and entertainment clients
- Develop campaign plans, media strategies, stories, and creative PR opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, producers, editors, and other media contacts
- Lead pitching across national, regional, trade, broadcast, and cultural media
- Secure interviews, reviews, previews, features, and other editorial opportunities
- Draft high-quality press releases, pitches, media briefings, and other communications materials
- Act as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients
- Lead client meetings and provide proactive updates and recommendations
- Anticipate challenges and opportunities and keep campaigns moving forward
- Work collaboratively across the ANRPR team, delegating and briefing colleagues where appropriate
- Support and help develop junior members of the team
- Contribute ideas, media intelligence, and industry knowledge across the agency
- Support new business opportunities and the continued growth of ANRPR
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
