About the Role & Team
Join The Walt Disney Company UK's Studios team and play a pivotal role in bringing some of the world's most loved stories to audiences across the UK.
As a Publicity Manager, you will work within the UK Studios Publicity team to develop and deliver strategic communications campaigns across our theatrical releases and Disney+ Studios branded content.
Partnering closely with marketing brand leads, you will help shape campaigns throughout the entire lifecycle of a title, from production and theatrical release through to transactional and streaming windows.
This is a highly visible role where you'll act as an ambassador for Disney Studios, building strong relationships with media, influencers, and internal stakeholders while creating impactful campaigns that engage audiences and strengthen our brands.
If selected for this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, UK Studios Publicity.
This role is a fixed-term contract running until approximately January 2028. It will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

What You Will Do
- Lead the development and execution of strategic publicity campaigns across theatrical and Disney+ Studios releases in the UK.
- Partner with marketing brand leads to ensure publicity activity complements broader communications and marketing strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with print, broadcast, and online media, securing interviews, features, screenings coverage, and other editorial opportunities.
- Identify and activate influential voices across media, social, and digital landscapes, working collaboratively with Studios Digital Marketing, Influencer, and Social Media teams.
- Track developments across media, social, and influencer channels, providing insight on trends, conversations, and competitor activity to inform campaign strategies.
- Execute talent-led publicity activity, including interviews, press tours, junkets, TV and radio appearances, social activations, and international events.
- Oversee the localisation, management, and distribution of publicity materials, ensuring assets are accurate, accessible, and effectively promoted to key media outlets.
- Manage screening programs, including venue sourcing, logistics, invitations, guest management, and on-site media and influencer engagement.
- Support the planning and delivery of Studio publicity events, influencer activations, and awards campaigns, ensuring exceptional experiences and strong campaign outcomes.
- Collaborate across UK, EMEA, and Burbank teams, representing UK Studio Publicity through presentations, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Delegate and provide guidance to the Publicist and Intern, supporting their development while ensuring successful campaign delivery.
- Manage allocated campaign budgets, ensuring activity is delivered effectively and within agreed financial parameters.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering integrated publicity, PR, or communications campaigns.
- Strong understanding of the UK media landscape, with an established network of media contacts across print, broadcast, and digital channels.
- Experience managing the day-to-day activities of a busy press office, including media enquiries and relationship management.
- Proven ability to lead projects and events from planning through to execution.
- Experience working with talent, media partners, agencies, and other external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across a busy release slate.
- Ability to identify opportunities from industry trends, audience conversations, and competitor activity.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and broader business stakeholders.
- Commercial awareness and experience managing budgets responsibly.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within the entertainment, film, television, or media industry.
- Understanding of the wider structure of The Walt Disney Company and the opportunities for cross-line-of-business collaboration.
- Experience supporting awards campaigns.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing programs and social-first publicity strategies.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers, agencies, or other third-party partners.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK, EMEA, or globally as required.
