Daz In The Hat Radio CIC is a not-for-profit online station broadcasting 24/7 worldwide. We support unsigned artists and offer media experience to volunteers. We are seeking a Volunteer Publicity Officer to raise our profile, grow audiences, and expand opportunities for independent music.

What difference will you make?

The Publicity Officer will be instrumental in strengthening the profile, reach, and impact of Daz In The Hat Radio CIC. As a not-for-profit community radio station supporting unsigned and independent artists worldwide, increased visibility is essential to achieving our Community Interest objectives.

  • By approaching small businesses, venues, cafés, and bars, the role will help create new physical listening spaces where the station can be streamed publicly. This will broaden our audience beyond online listeners, embed the station within local communities, and introduce new audiences to independent and emerging artists who may not otherwise receive mainstream exposure.
  • The role will also support audience growth by raising awareness of the station’s cultural, social, and community-focused aims. Increased listenership strengthens the value we offer to artists, presenters, and volunteers, while also improving the station’s credibility with partners, funders, and supporters. A stronger public profile helps demonstrate impact, reach, and community engagement — key factors for long-term sustainability as a Community Interest Company.
  • In addition, the Publicity Officer will help develop mutually beneficial relationships with community businesses. By offering free publicity in return for streaming the station, the organisation can build partnerships that benefit both parties while reinforcing the station’s role as a positive community asset.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
