Job Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service focused on clinical excellence and service development, for a 6-month period.
Requirements
Applying candidates should have previous experience of Pulmonary Rehabilitation, including assessment processes and taking a leading role on running classes. Applications will be considered from Physiotherapists, Clinical Exercise Physiologists, and Registered Nurses, with appropriate experience.
Role
The role is to work within the Nottingham North and East locality, with days and hours to be confirmed.
Responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Assessment of patients with chronic respiratory conditions for suitability for a 6-week Pulmonary Rehabilitation programme, being aware of contraindications and precautions to exercise.
- Running of Pulmonary Rehabilitation classes, delivering safe, effective exercise with progressions, and educational content.
- Supervision of other non-registered professionals.
- Contribution to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
