About The Role...
As a Waste Pump Engineer you will...
- Install wastewater pumping stations and associated equipment
- Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance on wastewater pumping systems
- Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to electrical and mechanical pump systems
- Commission new wastewater pumping installations
- Work on pump stations, sewage treatment plants and associated equipment
- Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current industry regulations
- Liaise with customers and provide technical advice and support
- Support the safe and efficient operation of wastewater pumping and treatment assets

About You...
We're looking for an experienced engineer with strong wastewater pumping system knowledge and the ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
You'll ideally have:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent
- Confined Space Certification
- CSCS Card
- First Aid qualification
- Proven experience as a Wastewater Pump Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of pump stations and wastewater treatment systems
- Experience with pump installation, servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis
- Good understanding of electrical control panels, floats, alarms and pump controls
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Positive, professional and flexible approach
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Strong team-working skills
