Pump Engineer (Installation / Service)

£40,000 - £45,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Progression + Training + Overtime + On-Call Allowance + Company Benefits

Are you a Pump Engineer or Mechanical/Electrical Engineer looking for a varied field-based role working on a wide range of commercial, industrial and domestic pumping systems?

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established pump installation and servicing business with around 60 employees and multiple branches across Scotland and the North of England. The company provides specialist pumping solutions across water infrastructure, commercial, industrial and other key sectors, with a strong reputation for quality and technical expertise.

In this role, you'll install, service, maintain and fault-find on a variety of pumping equipment and associated systems. You'll work directly with customers on site, diagnose problems, complete installations and commissioning, and provide technical support to clients and colleagues.

The Role:

  • Installing, servicing and maintaining a range of pumping equipment
  • Carrying out reactive repairs and fault finding
  • Working on booster sets, pressurisation units, sump sets and drainage systems
  • Carrying out system testing and commissioning
  • Completing inspections to ensure equipment is fully operational
  • Taking part in the out-of-hours on-call rota

The Person:

  • Pump Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or similar background
  • City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in an electrical/mechanical discipline
  • Full UK driving licence
