Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Pump Engineer role based in London. The Pump Engineer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing pumps and associated drainage systems at domestic and commercial properties. Typical tasks include:

The role involves preparing and following risk and method statements, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and documenting work completed in service reports. The Pump Engineer will collaborate with the wider operations team, interact directly with customers on site, and support continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.
Qualifications
- Technical skills in pump installation, maintenance, and repair, including experience with drainage systems and related mechanical components.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical faults, using appropriate tools, testing equipment, and safe working methods.
- Knowledge of health and safety practices, including working with risk and method statements, and adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and maintain professional conduct on site.
- Proven experience in field-based engineering or maintenance roles, ideally within drainage, plumbing, or building services environments.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, plumbing, or a closely related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to varied domestic and commercial locations across London and the Home Counties.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally as required for site visits and call-outs.
