My client is a well-established pump reseller and maintenance company. As a result of a recent promotion, they are looking for an experienced pump practitioner to join their team.
The work is both workshop and field-based at clients' sites. The role offers an opportunity for excellent professional development.
Duties will include:
- Stripping and refurbishment and commissioning of a range of pumps from reciprocating through to screw pumps
- Covering central Scotland with occasional trips further afield, for which you will be compensated with a generous away-from-home allowance

It is expected that you will be a time-served mechanical fitter, who has an excellent knowledge and experience of a variety of pumps. You should be able to work under minimal supervision.
The hours of work are:
- 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday
- 8.30-3.30pm on Friday

You are expected to be on call at weekends once every 6 weeks, for which you will be paid.
