About The Role
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for showing an interest in working at Arundel Church of England Primary School.
I hope you will come to visit our school; we are very proud of our children, parents, staff and governors and I am sure that once you have visited you will want to join our team.
We are currently in need of a part-time class teacher to join our teaching team on a maternity contract.
In the first instance, the successful candidate will love working with children, with an interest in one of the following subjects: Maths, Pupil Premium or SEND.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading/co-leading a subject area across the school. Experience or interest in the above subjects would be an advantage.
You would be well supported by the Leadership Team and the rest of the school.
We are on an exciting journey of school improvement so, please, come and see for yourself. I look forward to hearing from you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
