Purchase Ledger Assistant – Telford

Position
Furrows of Telford are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their busy team. This is a full time, permanent position and is fully office based.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Scanning, coding and allocating invoices daily
- Set up the relevant files in order for BACS payments to be made
- Check and reconcile supplier statements for month end payment run
- Deal with purchase enquiries
- Reconciliation of the purchase ledger, including maintaining supplier records
Requirements
- A minimum of five GCSEs (including Maths and English).
- Strong IT skills
- Association of Accounting Technicians Level 1 – not essential
- Experience using Microsoft excel
- Good communications skills
- Strong organisational skills
- An analytical mind
- A good eye for detail

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
