Purchase Ledger Assistant

Description
- Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate data entry into the system.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and process payment runs in line with company schedules.
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting requirements.
- Respond to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain organised and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Support the wider accounting and finance team as needed.

Profile
A successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:
- Experience in a similar role within an accounting or finance team.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Knowledge of purchase ledger processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and managing workloads.
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and team members.
