Working under the direction of the Ledger Manager or their nominee, to carry out all duties responsibly and safely in accordance with the current integrated management system in close cooperation with colleagues. Be responsible for ensuring your own awareness of the company health and safety and environmental policies.

Main Duties:

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Centrum Purchase Ledger; daily processing of invoices, checking of coding, matching to purchase orders and delivery notes. Obtaining authorization for payment for the weekly / monthly computerized payment run.
  • Aarsleff Purchase Ledger; daily process of invoices, checking coding, matching to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Resolving invoice queries both internally and externally.
  • Statement reconciliations.
  • Finance post sort and scan to relevant places.
  • Delivery notes scanned and matched to invoices.
  • Processing employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Receive, log, and coordinate incoming goods and equipment, maintaining accurate records and inventory updates.
  • Provide payroll administration support when required, including data input, record maintenance, and responding to payroll related queries.
  • Ad hoc tasks given from our Ledger Manager.

Person Specification

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of purchase ledger and accounts payable processes.
  • Knowledge of payroll administration procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous administration experience in an office environment.
  • Experience working with data entry and maintaining records.
  • Previous experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable or finance support role.
