Purchase Ledger Administrator

Burton upon Trent

£28,000 – £32,000 depending on experience

Monday – Friday | 7:30 or 8.00am – 4.30pm with early Friday finish!

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional looking for a role that could offer you more over time? Eaton Syalon are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join an established business based in Burton upon Trent.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the hands on side of Purchase Ledger but would also like the chance to broaden their experience. Initially, the role will have a strong PL focus alongside some support other functions, but importantly, there is genuine scope for the position to develop into a bigger role for someone who wants it to. We're therefore looking for someone who can come in with some previous Purchase Ledger experience, get to grips with the day to day responsibilities and become a dependable member of the team, but who may also be keen to learn, take on more and develop their role as the business gets to know their strengths.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
