About Us

Join us to help keep even more people and pets together when times are tough. For over a century, PDSA have provided vital veterinary care for the pets of people in financial hardship.

We’re now on a journey to expand our reach to support even more people and their beloved pets.

To achieve this ambitious goal, we need passionate and driven individuals who are ready to embrace change and help shape a future-focused PDSA. Together, we'll build a stronger organisation to ensure our services help those who need us most for the next hundred years.

If you're ready to make a real difference and be part of a team that's creating positive change, we want you to join us. Let's build a brighter future for pets and their owners, together.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a full-time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our fast-paced transactional Finance team.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with Monday to Thursday based in the office and Friday working from home.

You’ll play an important role in providing an excellent financial transaction processing service, with responsibility for a range of purchase ledger and payment activities. This will include processing invoices and expenses, preparing supplier payment runs, reconciling supplier statements and investigating any discrepancies.

You’ll also respond to queries from suppliers and colleagues across PDSA, so providing a helpful and efficient service alongside excellent attention to detail will be key.

About You

Ideally, you’ll have previous experience working within a Purchase Ledger or similar accounts environment and be comfortable managing a busy and varied workload.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
