Purchase Ledger Clerk – Part-Time (3 Days per Week)

Location: Radlett
Hours: 3 days per week
Salary: competitive
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing purchase invoices, maintaining accurate supplier records, reconciling accounts and supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and coding purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Reconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepancies
  • Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts
  • Responding to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
  • Ensuring invoices and supporting documentation are correctly filed
  • Providing general support to the finance team as required

About You

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role is preferred
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and accounting/finance systems
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Reliable, professional and a strong team player
