About Jet Network Solutions

Jet Network Solutions designs and constructs telecoms infrastructure for major network providers. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting a Purchase Ledger Controller to take full ownership of the purchase ledger function.

The role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage the purchase ledger end-to-end. This is a sole-charge position covering processing, supplier queries, approvals and reconciliations, with responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the ledger.

Because we operate in construction, the role carries specific compliance responsibility for CIS deductions and Domestic Reverse Charge (DRC) VAT. Getting this right is central to the position.

Key responsibilities

  • Processing supplier and subcontractor invoices accurately, matching to purchase orders and works completed
  • Applying CIS deductions correctly and ensuring correct VAT treatment on construction invoices, including DRC
  • Resolving queries and discrepancies with suppliers, subcontractors and internal budget holders
  • Reconciling supplier statements and investigating differences
  • Obtaining payment approvals in line with authorisation limits
  • Reconciling the purchase ledger control account and supporting month-end close
  • Maintaining supplier and subcontractor records, payment terms and compliance documentation
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to purchase-to-pay processes and controls

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
