This is a full-time permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, offering an hourly rate of £12.71 per hour, alongside an excellent benefits package and outstanding career development opportunities.

About The Role
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the accounts function, ensuring supplier payments and financial records are processed accurately and efficiently.

Working as part of a supportive team, you'll be responsible for maintaining purchase ledger records, resolving queries, and ensuring financial processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Preparing and processing monthly payment runs
- Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Preparing and processing bank payments
- Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
- Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal colleagues
- Supporting the wider accounts team with additional administrative duties when required
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate work.
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate
- Previous experience within an accounts, finance, administration, or purchase ledger role would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good numerical and data-entry accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- The ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills and confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications
