Looking for a part-time role in Burgess Hill? As a Purchase Ledger in the not-for-profit sector, you'll be responsible for managing supplier invoices and payments to help ensure the smooth running of the organisation's accounting processes.

Client Details

This role is with a not-for-profit organisation based in Burgess Hill.

Description

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices while adhering to company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the purchase ledger.
  • Handle queries from suppliers and internal teams regarding payments.
  • Assist with month-end processes, including reporting and reconciliations.
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger should have:

  • Experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with suppliers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A flexible approach to work and ability to manage part-time hours effectively.
