Purchase Ledger Team Leader | £35,000-£45,000 | Westbury, Wiltshire | Permanent

Core3 are looking for a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join an established organisation based in Westbury, Wiltshire. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes and making sure a busy purchase ledger function runs smoothly.

Salary

£35,000-£45,000

Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.

As Purchase Ledger Team Leader in Westbury, you'll have the opportunity to shape how the team works while remaining close to the day-to-day detail.

How you'll make an impact

  • Lead the Purchase Ledger team, keeping workloads organised and deadlines on track.
  • Support the Finance Manager as a trusted point of contact for purchase ledger matters.
  • Deliver an accurate and efficient month-end close across multiple ledgers.
  • Improve processes and controls to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
  • Produce clear aged creditor reporting, verification analysis and duplicate invoice checks.
  • Oversee supplier statement reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries.
  • Manage key supplier accounts, payments and invoice administration.
  • Coach team members through regular 1:1s, training and performance conversations.
  • Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
