A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Temporary Purchasing Administrator to support their team. This is a full-time temporary position working Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm and Friday 8.15am - 4.45pm, with a competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Purchasing Administrator role will include but are not limited to:
- Raising and processing purchase orders and following up outstanding orders.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, deliveries and order queries.
- Updating purchasing, supplier and inventory records accurately.
- Supporting the purchasing team with MRP, stock and material requirements.
- Assisting with purchasing reports, spreadsheets and general procurement administration.

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, buying or supply chain administration.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Confident communicating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel; experience with an ERP/MRP system is advantageous.
