SEBDEN Steel is the UK & Ireland’s largest privately owned mill-independent steel processor and stockholder, with annual sales of over £275m and suppliers worldwide.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive Purchasing Administrator to join our friendly team at our Brierley Hill site.
Working closely with the Purchasing Manager, you will provide administrative support across the purchasing function, including:
- Processing purchase orders and maintaining purchasing records
- Liaising with suppliers, ports and internal departments
- Tracking orders, deliveries and inventory
- Maintaining supplier databases and order information
- Handling email and telephone enquiries
- Supporting the Purchasing team with day-to-day administration

About You
- Organised, methodical and accurate
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, proactive and keen to learn
- Previous office administration experience preferred
- Purchasing experience is an advantage, but training will be provided
