Are you an organised, detail-focused administrator looking for an opportunity to develop your career within Purchasing and Supply Chain?
We are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our team at Steatite in Redditch.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will provide essential administrative support to our Purchasing function, helping to keep supplier orders, deliveries, documentation and information moving smoothly across the business.
You will work closely with Purchasing, Production, Sales and Contract Administration, making this a varied role where communication, organisation and attention to detail really matter.
What You Will Be Doing
- Progressing purchase orders and following up on delivery timescales
- Updating purchasing, delivery and shipping information within our ERP system
- Communicating ETAs, delays and updates to internal stakeholders
- Supporting order confirmations and pro-forma invoice processing
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve queries
- Checking and maintaining shipping and customs documentation
- Maintaining accurate purchasing and delivery records
- Supporting credit card administration and SAP Concur uploads
- Providing general administrative support to the team
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

What We Are Looking For
You will have:
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Good Microsoft Office skills, including Excel
- A proactive, positive approach and willingness to learn
Experience within Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain or Manufacturing would be advantageous but isn’t essential.
Experience using Epicor or another ERP system would also be beneficial, but training can be provided.
