Purchasing Coordinator
FourNet is recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator to support the Procurement Lead in the effective day-to-day management of purchasing activities. The role ensures purchase orders are accurately raised, submitted to suppliers, and tracked through to completion.
Scope of Responsibilities
Activities
- Raise purchase orders and submit to suppliers in a timely manner ensuring order placement acknowledgements are received.
- Maintain accurate purchasing data within Salesforce system and support reporting on purchase order status, outstanding orders and queries.
- Track delivery of goods and provide updates to internal teams.
- Support the Procurement Lead in maintaining effective supplier relationships and act as a point of contact for suppliers regarding orders and delivery updates.
- Manage the shared Purchasing inbox, prioritising and responding to requests, queries, and order-related communications promptly and escalating urgent or complex issues where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within purchasing workflows.
- Provide cover in the team for absences.

Person Specification
Technical Profile
- Very strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Effective communication skills (internal and external stakeholders)
- Experience working with purchase orders, invoicing, or procurement processes preferred
