Purchasing Manager (Mechanical Engineering)
£85,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + 31 Days Holiday + Progression + Additional Company Benefits
You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations: Wilmslow, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Northwich, Warrington. Other locations will also be considered.
Are you from a purchasing background with previous experience in international markets looking to move into an autonomous role within a market leading company?
In this role you will work to identify and develop machining suppliers predominantly across China within a company who are passionate about continued staff investment.

The company are at the forefront of their industry and supply their specialist products to a wide range of clients across the globe, due to continued expansion plans they are now looking to further grow head count.
This role would suit someone from a purchasing background with a mechanical engineering understanding looking for a long term permanent position.
The Role:
- Working as a Purchasing Manager to establish the company's purchasing capabilities predominately within China.
- Identify and develop machining suppliers predominantly across China to support the continued growth of the business.
- Further duties of the role will include but are not limited to: technical procurement, purchasing, costings, and supplier negotiations, and much more.
- Some travel to China and India on average 3-4 times a year.
- Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

The Person:
- Previous experience in a similar level role.
- Mechanical Engineering background/understanding.
- Previous experience purchasing in markets across countries such as: China, India, Europe, or similar.
- Any experience in the oil and gas sector will be considered beneficial but not essential.
- Long term permanent position.
