Unisnacks Europe Ltd, headquartered in Bedfordshire, UK, specializes in importing and distributing renowned branded ambient consumer packaged foods, snacks, confectioneries, and beverages across the UK and Europe. Partnering with renowned global brand owners such as Meiji Seika, Lotte Confectionery, and Pokka Corporation, Unisnacks offers a diverse range of products including Hello Panda Biscuits, Choco Pie, and Pokka beverages. Focused on collaborating with food retailers, the company connects international brands to new markets, ensuring a premium selection of products meets consumer demands.
Unisnacks is a highly IT enabled, automated distribution business with best-in-class integrations across multiple functions. A UKBA accredited employer with BRCG certification and customs bonded warehouse.
Role Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the Company's portfolio of food and beverage brands by sourcing innovative products from overseas suppliers, negotiating commercial agreements, managing supplier relationships, and delivering profitable brand growth within the UK market. The role combines strategic purchasing with brand management to ensure the business offers competitive, high-quality products that meet customer and consumer expectations while maximizing sales, profitability, and market share.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES
Strategic
- Develop and implement purchasing and brand strategies aligned with the Company's commercial objectives.
- Identify and source new products, brands, and suppliers from overseas markets.
- Drive profitable growth through effective brand portfolio management, product innovation, and market expansion.
- Develop supplier partnerships that enhance competitiveness, quality, supply continuity, and commercial value.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify business opportunities and maintain market leadership.
- Exposure to ethnic/world food will be an advantage.
- Comprehensive Job Description will be shared with selected candidates.
Operational
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier selection, negotiations, product sourcing, and contract management.
- Coordinate new product launches, packaging developments, and product lifecycle management.
- Manage supplier performance relating to quality, pricing, lead times, service levels, and compliance.
- Monitor inventory requirements, purchasing forecasts, and product availability in collaboration with Supply Chain and Operations.
- Monitor brand performance, sales, margins, and profitability, recommending corrective actions where necessary.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree from a top business university
- Professional qualification in CIM or equivalent is desirable.
Experience
- Minimum 20 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, brand management, or category management within the FMCG or food industry, with blue-chip MNCs.
- Experience negotiating with overseas suppliers.
- Experience managing branded and developing private label products.
