For the opening of The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, Colbert Collection
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Purchasing & Receiving Agent to support the efficient procurement, receiving, and inventory processes across the hotel. In this role, you will help ensure that all departments receive the products, materials, and supplies required to deliver an exceptional luxury guest experience.
Join one of the first 75 team members and play a defining role in launching a new luxury destination in Mayfair.
From day one, you will help shape the culture, service standards and guest experience that set the hotel apart.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the receiving and inspection of all deliveries, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with hotel standards.
- Coordinate purchasing activities and support the procurement of goods, supplies, and operational materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory records.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and service partners.
- Identify and report discrepancies, damaged goods, and quality concerns.
- Support cost-control initiatives while maintaining the highest service and product standards.

How can you succeed in this role
- Previous experience in Purchasing, Receiving, Stores, or a similar role within hospitality is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Good understanding of procurement, receiving, and inventory control processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working with purchasing, inventory, or hotel management systems is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are highly advantageous.
