You will lead sourcing strategy, supplier performance, cost reduction and material availability, while working closely with Production Planning and playing an active role in the S&OP process to ensure production plans are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Buyers.
- Manage direct, indirect and CAPEX procurement.
- Develop sourcing strategies and deliver cost reduction initiatives.
- Drive supplier performance, contract negotiations and continuous improvement.
- Ensure material availability, MRP accuracy and inventory optimisation.
- Support production planning, S&OP and wider supply chain activities.
- Improve logistics flow, import processes and supply chain resilience.
- Lead SAP and process improvement initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Engineering and Finance.

About You
You'll have experience leading both procurement and supply chain within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You'll be equally comfortable developing strategic sourcing initiatives as you are working with production planning to ensure materials are available and operations run efficiently.
You'll bring:
- Purchasing and Supply Chain Management experience.
- Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP desirable).
- Experience of production planning, inventory management and S&OP.
- Proven success in supplier negotiations, cost reduction and process improvement.
- Leadership experience with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business.
