Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager

💷 £50,000-£55,000 + bonus
A growing UK healthcare business supplying specialist medical products to the NHS and international markets is looking for a hands-on Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of their end-to-end supply chain - from forecasting, procurement and production planning through to inventory, warehousing and logistics. You'll lead a small team and work closely with senior management, QA, marketing and international partners and suppliers.

A key part of the role is modernising how they work. They want someone who will embrace AI and automation to reduce manual effort, improve forecasting and reporting, streamline purchasing and reconciliation, and strengthen supplier resilience.
You'll bring:
- Proven purchasing / supply chain management experience within a healthcare, medical or pharmaceutical procurement (other regulated environments may be considered).
- Experience managing a small team
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
- Experience improving processes and implementing automation or AI
- CIPS and UK packaging/environmental compliance knowledge are advantageous
