Job Description
We are seeking someone with a good working knowledge of the English language and an interest in puzzles to join a small team creating engaging in-game content across our range of word and picture-based puzzle titles.
In this role, you will help deliver fun, high-quality puzzles for a global audience, with an awareness of language, context, and current trends. You will be organised and able to manage tasks, deadlines, and content efficiently. As content creation is fast-paced and constantly evolving, you will need to be adaptable, flexible, and proactive in responding to new challenges.
What will you be doing at Miniclip?
Work with the Content Manager to:
- Develop and design a range of engaging and challenging word puzzles, including crosswords.
- Research and incorporate diverse themes and topics into puzzle content.
- Fact-check content to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Stay up to date with trends in puzzle design and word games.
- Proofread and, where necessary, edit colleagues’ work for clarity and precision.
- Contribute ideas for time-limited events.

Previous games industry and puzzle making experience are not required, however the following are essential.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
- Ability to quickly learn and use bespoke software tools.
- Strong command of vocabulary and grammar.
- Effective communication skills.
- Comfortable receiving and acting on feedback.
- Experience working in an office-based team environment.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
