We are a Global Recruitment specialist that provides support to the clients across EMEA, APAC, US and Canada. We have an excellent job opportunity for you.

Role Title: Core Python Developer

Contract duration: 6 months

Location: Northampton (2 days office)

Pay Rate: £347 to 363 to per day all inc. (Inside IR35)

Experience: 6 to 8 yrs

Technical Skills/Competencies:

  • Python:
    • Design, develop, and maintain Python scripts for data processing and transformation.
    • Work extensively with Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and manipulation.
    • Work experience in file processing libraries and other python libraries.
    • Work extensively with testing frameworks (unittest / pytest).
    • Manage structured and unstructured file handling using CSV, JSON, XML, and APIs.
    • Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, and other developers on project requirements.
    • Develop and optimize algorithms for efficiency and scalability.
    • Perform testing (unit testing, regression testing) to ensure high-quality software delivery.
    • Translate analytical requirements into technical solutions and document workflows.

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Python programming.
  • Knowledge of file handling techniques in Python.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks or similar data science environments.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
  • GIT/Any other version control tool & Sonarcube
  • Understanding of SDLC/Agile methodology/Scrum/Agile Central/JIRA
  • Easily adaptable to changes – work demands / schedules / management
  • Candidate availability within reasonable time (good to have as soon as possible)
