Python Developer

On site Birmingham | £45,000 - £55,000+ Bonus + Benefit

We're recruiting for an experienced Python Developer to join a successful and growing manufacturing business, helping to develop, support and enhance business-critical applications, data platforms, integrations, and automation solutions.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving system reliability, and delivering solutions that drive real business value. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support internal applications, APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across web applications, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and release processes.
  • Support the ongoing development of reporting, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' software development experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python, React, TypeScript, SQL, FastAPI, BigQuery, MongoDB, and GCP.
  • Experience with APIs, integrations, cloud deployment, and data pipelines.
  • Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, testing, and production support.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
