About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team at Involved Solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a large-scale technology environment, developing automation frameworks, backend services, and tooling that support complex telecom and network operations. The Senior Python Developer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency and testing capabilities across 5G and enterprise platforms. This position requires a hands-on engineer with a strong background in Python, REST APIs, automation, and backend development, with exposure to Linux, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, databases, and network technologies.
The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex technical problems and have a passion for working across both software engineering and network automation domains. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including QA, Network Engineering, and DevOps to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions that meet business needs. This role provides a platform to influence the future of network automation and contribute to innovative projects in the telecommunications sector.

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in Python development, with significant experience designing and building REST APIs. A solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL, is essential. Proficiency in Linux environments, scripting, and containerization tools such as Docker is required. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automation libraries will be vital for success. Additionally, candidates should have a good understanding of networking fundamentals and experience working within agile environments. Desirable qualifications include telecoms or network automation experience, knowledge of 4G/5G architectures, and familiarity with event-driven architectures and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation frameworks and scripts to support network testing, data processing, and operational workflows.
- Build RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI for internal services and cross-team integrations.
- Create lightweight web dashboards and interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Jinja2 to visualize data and system status.
- Work with various database technologies including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis to manage application, configuration, and testing data.
- Build and maintain Docker and Docker Compose environments for application deployment, testing, and development.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools to ensure automated and reliable deployment processes.
- Automate Linux system tasks using Bash, shell scripting, and cron jobs to streamline operations.
- Integrate Python applications with telecom network systems and APIs to facilitate automation and data exchange.
- Develop automated validation, health checks, and service monitoring capabilities to ensure system reliability.
- Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, and error handling strategies across automation services.
- Collaborate with QA, Network Engineering, and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities and develop scalable solutions.
- Support the development of scalable, reliable, and maintainable engineering solutions that meet operational requirements.
