Want to build software where Python, machine learning, advanced data engineering and quantitative research meet live sports markets?
We’re working with a small, world-class quantitative trading firm in London looking for a talented Python Software Developer to join a highly technical, tight-knit team of researchers, engineers and trading analysts.
You’ll work directly alongside quantitative researchers and engineers to build and support systematic trading models, process live sports and pricing data, and develop high-performance trading systems.
What you’ll be working on:
- Processing live sports, market & pricing data
- Building models to estimate probabilities and identify mispriced contracts
- Designing and optimising high-frequency trading systems
- Analysing strategies in testing and live trading
- Building tools to manage trading risk, capital & exposure
- Investigating new platforms, products and markets

What we’re looking for:
- 1st class or a 2:1 from Oxbridge Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Physics.
- 1+ years’ commercial Python experience
- Experience solving complex, real-world technical problems
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- An interest in functional programming is a big plus
