About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to join our expanding team at Involved Solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a large-scale technology environment, developing automation solutions, backend services, and tooling that support complex telecoms and network operations. As a senior member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based automation frameworks, REST APIs, and web interfaces. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our clients' network infrastructure, particularly within 5G and enterprise platforms. The role requires a hands-on engineer with a strong background in Python, network automation, and backend development, who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Python development, with extensive experience in designing and implementing REST APIs. You should have a solid understanding of database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL, and be proficient in working within Linux environments. Experience with containerization tools such as Docker, and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab, is essential. Familiarity with web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and templating engines like Jinja2 will be advantageous. Additionally, candidates should have good knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and SSH. Prior experience in telecommunications or network automation, along with familiarity with network protocols and architectures such as 4G, 5G, or Service Based Architecture (SBA), is highly desirable.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Python automation frameworks and scripts to support network testing, data processing, and operational workflows.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI for internal and cross-team integrations.
- Create lightweight web-based dashboards and interfaces utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Jinja2.
- Manage and optimize databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis, for application data, configurations, and testing purposes.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain Docker and Docker Compose environments to streamline application deployment and testing processes.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines leveraging Jenkins and GitLab to ensure continuous integration and delivery of software updates.
- Automate Linux system tasks using Bash, shell scripting, and cron jobs to improve operational efficiency.
- Integrate Python applications with telecom network systems and APIs to facilitate automation and data exchange.
- Develop automated validation, health checking, and service monitoring capabilities to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Implement comprehensive logging, error handling, and monitoring across automation services to facilitate troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with QA, Network Engineering, and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable engineering solutions.
- Support the development of reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business needs and technical standards.
