Urgent 6 Month Python Contract £600-800 outside IR35

Futureheads have partnered with a consumer health company building an app that brings together blood-test results, wearable data and medical history to deliver personalised insights.

About the Role

You’ll work with an experienced, Python-focused engineering team to ship product features quickly. This is a hands-on, full-stack role: you’ll own substantial pieces of work, turn ambiguous requirements into working features and collaborate across the business. The team works on a weekly delivery cadence and uses AI tools throughout development.

Required Skills

  • Strong Python and full-stack engineering experience, with a track record of shipping quality product work.
  • Confidence working independently, asking the right questions and balancing speed with maintainable code.
  • Practical experience using AI coding tools to deliver production software.
  • Familiarity with inbound data pipelines and asynchronous processing.
  • A product mindset and an understanding of how to work responsibly with sensitive data.

Preferred Skills

Consumer product, mobile-app or regulated-industry experience would be helpful, but isn’t essential.

Pay range and compensation package

  • This is a contract role with an ASAP start.
  • The team is based near Old Street, London.
  • Office time is preferred, but three days a week is workable, and exceptional fully remote candidates may be considered.
  • The expected rate is £600-800 per day

  • The process includes a 30–45 minute conversation.
  • A short take-home task where AI use is expected.
