Backend Engineer - Python & Django
A leading FinTech Start-Up is looking for a Backend Engineer specialising in Python and Django to design and build real time platforms used within highly specialised financial markets. You will take ownership of features from concept to production, solving complex distributed systems problems.

What You Will Do
- Design scalable APIs and high-performance microservices leveraging the Python and Django ecosystem.
- Optimise data layers and query performance within PostgreSQL relational databases.
- Deploy, scale, and maintain distributed backend systems containerised via Docker and orchestrated within Kubernetes environments.
- Implement modern engineering practices, ensuring high test coverage, robust version control, and seamless continuous integration (CI/CD pipelines).

What We Are Looking For
- Backend Engineering Experience: Strong track record of writing production grade, asynchronous Python code.
- System Design Expertise: Solid understanding of software architecture, data modeling, and RESTful API design patterns.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Familiarity with containerised workflows using Kubernetes and cloud environments
