They need a true Senior Engineer, someone who thinks in terms of system architecture, data flow, resilience, and scalable design. By ingesting real-time communication feeds (WhatsApp, market commentary) alongside live stock and commodity data, the platform leverages ML and agentic workflows to flag automated buy/sell signals directly to institutional traders and brokerages (including top-tier firms like Marex).

What You Bring:
- Senior Python Expertise: Deep, battle-tested commercial experience with Python. You know the language inside out, understand its concurrency and performance nuances, and write robust, maintainable code.
- Systems & Architectural Mindset: You approach problems as a software engineer rather than a scripter, evaluating data flows, edge cases, system bottlenecks, and long-term scalability.
- Relational Database Design: Extensive experience architecting and optimizing relational databases (PostgreSQL, schema design, index optimization, data integrity).
- End-to-End Delivery: A proven track record of taking complex backend systems from concept to delivery (exposure to frameworks like Django is ideal for their current stack).
- Curiosity for Applied AI: Hands-on exposure to or a strong technical interest in integrating LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g. LangChain, tool calling, structured outputs).
- Communication & Background: Strong communication skills to interact directly with founders, brokers, and clients, coupled with a Computer Science or STEM degree.
- Prior fintech, trading, or startup exposure is a plus, but top-tier engineering chops come first.

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will:
- Take ownership of backend architecture, scaling data models, and system design using Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.
- Architect robust data ingestion pipelines that aggregate unstructured, multi-channel messaging (WhatsApp, market feeds) into high-integrity data streams.
- Integrate LangChain and machine learning pipelines to detect market movements and deliver real-time buy/sell alerts to live traders.
- Champion engineering best practices, maintain system reliability, and help steer technical decisions as the platform expands into new products.
