Python Developer
Fully Remote (UK) | Quarterly Meet-ups in London
Paying up to £60k + benefits
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading global organisation looking to add talented Software Engineer to its growing digital engineering team.
This role is ideal for someone with strong Python experience who also wants to develop their full stack skills, working with Angular and modern cloud technologies on a suite of innovative digital products. The client are open to considering a backend specialist (Python) or a backend leaning full stack developer.
What you'll be doing
- Building modern backend services in Python across Flask and FastAPI (80% of your time)
- Contributing to frontend in Angular using the latest frameworks (20% of your time)
- Working within Agile, cross-functional engineering teams
- Taking part in code reviews, pair programming and technical discussions
- Helping shape high-quality, scalable software solutions

Tech Stack: Python, Flask/FastAPI, GCP, Angular, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, PostgreSQL, Cypress, Playwright.
About You
- 3+ years' commercial Python experience
- Exposure to any frontend frameworks in a commercial environment
- Experience building modern web applications
- Strong experience working on genuine complex systems
- Strong Git and CI/CD knowledge
- Collaborative mindset and a passion for clean, quality code
