Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Python applications, automation frameworks, and reusable software components.
  • Build automation and pipelines for infrastructure deployment, patching, monitoring, alerting, inventory, and capacity management.
  • Integrate Python solutions with infrastructure, storage platforms, APIs, and third-party systems.
  • Work with engineering and infrastructure teams to translate requirements into scalable, highly available technical solutions.
  • Develop automation for problem management and preventative maintenance, applying software engineering and SDLC best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues across Python applications, Linux, infrastructure, and storage environments, collaborating with a global engineering team.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Advanced hands-on Python development experience, including production-grade applications, automation frameworks, and reusable solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering, Object-Oriented Programming, SDLC best practices, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Experience with automation, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines, including REST APIs, system integration, and SQL/database technologies.
  • Good working knowledge of Linux/RHEL environments and infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience or exposure to enterprise storage, such as IBM Spectrum Scale/GPFS, distributed file systems, SAN, NAS, NFS, or iSCSI, with knowledge of storage automation, monitoring, or capacity management.
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, or enterprise storage platforms such as NetApp, EMC, or Brocade, would be advantageous.
