Role: Python Engineer

A Python Engineer is needed to join our client, who help businesses become more profitable and sustainable by providing automated, AI-enabled analytics.
They are a passionate team and work in a highly collaborative startup environment. Our tools are used by companies across a variety of industries and geographies to make sense of and enrich their data and use it to make better decisions.

The successful Python Software Engineer will collaborate closely with their Head of Data Science on a AI-driven sustainability solutions.

This role provides a great opportunity for a Python Engineer with 1-3 years of experience who are looking to make their mark and a keen interest in how AI and technology can make companies more efficient and sustainable.

Tech stack you will be using:
Languages: Python (pydantic, fastAPI, pandas, polars, numpy, pytest) and SQL
Database: Postgres
Cloud: AWS (lambda, fargate, s3, RDS, ECR)
Other: Kubernetes, Docker, Bitbucket

Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years of Python Programming experience (commercial) or as a Quant Developer
  • Strong academic background in Comp Sci or related subject
  • Experience in sustainability of Carbon accounting is a plus
