QA Analyst (Content Design)

GlobalStep is looking for a QA Analyst (Content Design) to help validate and balance the systems that drive player progression and engagement in a live game environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Test game economies, rewards, progression systems, champion stats and building balance
  • Perform manual, exploratory, regression and integration testing
  • Investigate balance issues, progression bottlenecks and unintended player strategies
  • Create and maintain test cases and documentation
  • Report and track issues in JIRA while working closely with designers and developers

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years' QA experience in games (ideally strategy, 4X, or RPG titles)
  • Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and spreadsheets
  • Understanding of game economies, progression systems, and balance design
  • Experience creating structured test plans and test cases
  • Familiarity with Unity and content configuration tools is a plus
  • Interest in APIs, backend validation, or Postman is beneficial
