This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QA Analyst based in United Kingdom.
As a QA Analyst, you will play a central role in ensuring digital products are reliable, intuitive, and ready for real-world users.
You will combine hands-on manual testing with automation to strengthen quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
The role offers the opportunity to influence testing practices, automation frameworks, and overall engineering standards.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams in a fast-moving, distributed environment.
Your work will directly contribute to delivering scalable products that meet high expectations for performance and user experience.
You’ll help identify issues early, improve regression coverage, and advocate for quality at every stage of development.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced QA professional who enjoys ownership, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities
- Define and execute comprehensive test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and user-focused scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automated regression tests and supporting QA tools using code-first automation frameworks.
- Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of QA methodologies, testing processes, and quality standards.
- Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases aligned with product requirements.
- Identify, document, track, and communicate defects using industry-standard bug-tracking practices.
- Work closely with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to investigate issues, validate fixes, and support high-quality releases.
- Advocate for software quality and a strong user experience throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Help improve automation coverage and testing efficiency while supporting frequent and reliable software releases.
- Collaborate effectively with distributed teams in a fast-paced product development environment.
- Contribute to scalable QA practices that support the delivery and ongoing growth of digital products.

Requirements
- 6+ years of professional QA testing experience, combining both manual and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing best practices, and industry-standard defect and bug-tracking tools.
- Hands-on expertise developing automated tests in Java or Python.
- Experience with Appium, Selenium, or comparable code-first test automation frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience creating test strategies, test plans, and comprehensive test cases.
- Strong ability to identify quality risks and advocate for improvements that enhance the end-user experience.
- Experience delivering quality software within fast-moving startup or agile environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to investigate complex issues systematically.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, product stakeholders, and distributed cross-functional teams.
- Self-directed and comfortable taking ownership of QA activities in a remote working environment.
