ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company, supplying innovative packaging solutions to customers around the world.

We're looking for a QA Technician to join our Quality team at our Elsham site. This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day activities of the Quality Department, maintaining compliance, supporting audits, investigate customer complaints, maintain quality documentation and play an important role in promoting product safety and continuous improvement.

Key Details

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (core hours)
  • Working week: 37.5 hours
  • Salary: £31,000–£34,000 per annum
  • Bonus: Quarterly bonus scheme
  • Contract: Full-time, permanent position

About the role

As a QA Technician, you'll provide practical support across all areas of the Quality Management System, helping to ensure our products and processes meet the highest standards.

  • Carrying out internal audits across Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental systems.
  • Supporting customer, certification and third-party audits.
  • Logging, investigating and managing customer complaints, returns and enquiries.
  • Ensuring non-conforming products are controlled in line with company procedures.
  • Supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions (CAPA).
  • Maintaining Quality and Food Safety documentation and records.
  • Supporting compliance with BRCGS Packaging, ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP and customer requirements.
  • Locating retained samples for investigation and product testing where required.
  • Assisting with food safety inductions and other site-based training.
  • Supporting monthly stock takes and other departmental activities.
  • Working with Production and other departments to promote quality standards and continuous improvement.

About you

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and has a keen eye for detail. You'll be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and enjoy working with others to solve problems and maintain high standards.

Essential criteria:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Knowledge of BRCGS and/or ISO 9001
  • Experience with internal auditing and HACCP
  • Confidence supporting audits and handling customer complaints
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach
