Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and evolution of automated testing solutions for enterprise applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in UI test automation, automation framework development, and quality engineering best practices, with extensive experience using Tricentis Tosca.
You will leverage Tosca's advanced capabilities—including model-based testing, modular test case design, reusable business components, and automation best practices—to build scalable, maintainable, and resilient test automation solutions that support high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain reusable Tosca automation modules, business components, and test assets.
- Build and execute automated test suites for web-based and enterprise applications.
- Develop scalable and maintainable UI automation frameworks and reusable automation libraries.
- Apply model-based testing and modular design principles to maximize test reuse and minimize maintenance effort.
- Embed automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, supporting continuous testing and rapid feedback cycles.
- Create resilient and self-healing automation solutions that can adapt to application changes with minimal maintenance.
- Perform end-to-end functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.
- Manage test data and ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements.
- Ensure traceability of test cases to Jira stories, acceptance criteria, and business requirements.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps teams to improve software quality and delivery efficiency.
- Follow QA best practices related to automation, version control, defect management, test data management, and reporting.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
