About The Role

Humres is currently seeking qualified QA/QC Engineers to join a major European construction contractor involved in large-scale data centre developments across Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on technically complex projects within demanding construction environments where quality assurance, technical compliance, and meticulous documentation are paramount. As a QA/QC Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that civil, structural, and groundworks are executed to the highest standards, adhering strictly to project specifications, drawings, and safety regulations. You will collaborate closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to uphold quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess previous QA/QC experience within civil engineering, reinforced concrete, structural construction, or major construction projects. A relevant technical qualification such as a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction is preferred. Practical knowledge of construction inspection and testing requirements, especially in groundworks, drainage, reinforcement, formwork, and concrete works, is essential. Candidates should have experience managing non-conformances, corrective actions, and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and test results accurately is critical. Strong attention to detail, methodical approach to record-keeping, and confidence in raising quality concerns are vital. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Experience working on data centre projects or familiarity with digital quality management systems is advantageous. Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Finland, Germany, or the Netherlands and possess excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
