Job Description
Enso Recruitment are proud to be working with a globally recognised organisation operating at the heart of international financial markets, who are now looking to bring a talented QA Engineer into their growing Belfast engineering team.
The Opportunity
This is a great opportunity for a quality-focused engineer who wants to work on complex, high-impact software at genuine scale.
You'll be embedded within an Agile delivery team, contributing to test planning, automation, and continuous quality improvement across a range of products and platforms.
It's a role for someone who takes real pride in what gets shipped, embraces a shift-left mindset, and wants to work alongside talented engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to test planning, design, and execution across Agile delivery teams
- Build, maintain, and improve automated test suites covering UI, API, and integration testing
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to define clear acceptance criteria and embed quality from the start
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing activities throughout the development lifecycle
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates
- Apply AI-assisted testing tools to improve test design, automation coverage, and overall productivity
- Monitor test results and provide clear, actionable reporting on quality metrics and progress
- Support performance and non-functional testing activities
- Champion quality best practices and contribute to continuous improvement across the team

About You
- 2-5 years' experience in software testing and quality assurance within a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
- Proficient in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or a similar scripting language
- Solid understanding of API testing concepts and tools
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and source control platforms such as GitLab, TeamCity, or Jenkins
- Experienced with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and Zephyr
- Comfortable writing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test evidence to a high standard
- A proactive learner who takes ownership of their work and champions quality across the team
- Strong communicator, able to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams
- Experience using AI-assisted tooling to support testing, automation, and troubleshooting
