QA Engineer (Inside IR35)
Contract - 12 month
Location: Ipswich
If you're passionate about quality and enjoy working with people who care about getting it right, this is a brilliant opportunity to help test and deliver applications powering the next generation of broadband devices. Hiring for a reputed client, you'll join UK-based agile squads and work alongside talented software and networking teams—making a real difference to customers across the UK.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop automation test scripts for next generation converged products and services
- Test cutting-edge client applications and embedded devices within agile delivery squads
- Tackle complex, cross-domain issues—especially where the impact on customers is high
- Support technical quality assurance across engineers in a matrix team structure
- Use scrum/JIRA/wiki to track agile workflow deliveries
- Contribute to proactive improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring
- Extensive knowledge of Robot Framework
- Knowledge of Python
- Experience working with VMs and containerisation
- Knowledge of Linux and Docker
- Experience with code revision and issue tracking/CI tools such as git, JIRA, GitLab
- Solid understanding of Agile delivery methods and tools (scrum/JIRA/wiki)
- Good knowledge of broadband/home gateway standards including xDSL, FTTP, IPv4/IPv6, PPP, Wi‑Fi, UPnP, and 4G/5G mobile networks
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical information
- A mindset for self-development in the areas you need to grow
