Make a Real Impact As a QA Engineer

As a proud partner with Aquent, we are seeking exceptional talent to join a team at the forefront of immersive technology, driving innovation in social experiences. This organization is dedicated to building groundbreaking platforms that connect people in new and meaningful ways, shaping the future of digital interaction.

Job Overview

Are you ready to be the dedicated quality owner for a mature, Unity-based social VR application? In this critical role, you will directly influence the stability and reliability of a large, user-generated content (UGC) VR platform, ensuring every weekly release is flawless across multiple surfaces. Your meticulous testing and keen eye for detail will be essential in preventing regressions and delivering a seamless experience to users in the most-visited virtual worlds. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to a product that is already a cornerstone of immersive social interaction, ensuring its continued excellence and user satisfaction.

What You’ll Do

  • Run comprehensive smoke and regression test passes on nightly, stable, and release-candidate builds, providing clear go/no-go signals to release managers.
  • Verify launch-blocking fixes in per-fix clone builds and on the release branch before and after they are picked for integration.
  • Thoroughly test the application within top-traffic supported worlds, covering core functionalities such as inter-world travel, avatars, voice communication, social features, and multiplayer sessions.
  • Reproduce and meticulously document crashes, hangs, ANRs, out-of-memory kills, and performance regressions reported from production, filing actionable bugs complete with reliable repro steps, device logs, and video evidence.
  • Test cloud-streamed builds on mobile and PC alongside native VR builds, proactively identifying and flagging surface-specific issues.
  • Create and diligently maintain test plans, test cases, and release checklists, ensuring they remain current as the list of supported worlds evolves.
  • Assist in triaging incoming bug reports, confirming, deduplicating, assessing severity, and routing them to the appropriate support or engineering teams.
  • Identify repetitive manual checks that are ripe for automation and contribute to expanding automated test coverage wherever practical.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
